Yamaha Education Suite
The YPG-235 is more than just a musical instrument, it’s a keyboard that helps you learn. It features Yamaha’s very own Education Suite, containing 30 built-in songs plus 70 more on the included CD-ROM. Quite honestly, learning how to play the keyboard has never been easier with this great feature!
There are 3 different lessons for each hand: Waiting Mode, Your Tempo Mode and Minus One Mode. The Waiting Mode is the easiest, stopping the playback of the song you’re on until you find the correct note. In the Your Tempo Mode, you the song Yamaha YPG-235 will automatically slow down the tempo of the song to aid you. And for those of you who are more confident, the Minus One Mode will play the song at a normal tempo.
Portable
Keyboards are perfect for learning on and having a portable one is excellent if you’re on the move and would prefer to keep practising wherever you are. The YPG-235 is no exception to this. Being everything a piano is, but in an easy to carry size and shape.
Excellent Sound Quality
Of course, one of the key features that you’ll need from your portable keyboard is a top of the range level of sound quality. Things We Did Not Like About The Yamaha YPG-235:
We found it one of the best portable keyboards out there, so finding negatives was tough. Clearly the sound quality is not up to that of the more expensive models but this is hard to beat at the price and ideal as a starter model.

Absolutely! Yamaha are well-known for their excellent musical instruments and this portable keyboard is outstanding for the price tag.
